Hands-on experience in business, media, and marketing for students ages 16–24.

We bring our mission into action through hands-on training, mentorship, and real resources for aspiring and existing entrepreneurs in underserved communities.

The Community Entrepreneurship Accelerator supports people at every stage of entrepreneurship — from refining a new idea, to relaunching after setbacks, to scaling an existing business.
Participants gain:
-Training in branding, marketing, and growth planning
-Expert guidance from local business leaders and community mentors
-Access to shared resources and professional networks
-Workshops designed to turn vision into action
-Opportunities to pitch, promote, and connect with funders and partners
By connecting entrepreneurs with experts and resources, this program transforms ambition into sustainable impact — creating stronger small businesses and more resilient communities across Planning District 16.

The Youth Internship & Career Pathways Program prepares the next generation of leaders by opening doors often out of reach for underserved students. Participants work alongside local businesses, nonprofits, and creative professionals to build experience in areas like digital marketing, event production, and entrepreneurship.
Each semester, interns receive:
-Weekly training sessions led by community experts
-Mentorship and one-on-one career coaching
-Hands-on projects tied to real business needs
-Exposure to networking events and professional circles
-Opportunities for leadership within Go Local FXBG projects and events
Our goal is not just to place students in internships, but to equip them with confidence, connections, and lasting pathways.

The Local Business Accelerator helps small business owners who are ready to grow but lack access to affordable resources and guidance. Through cohort-based training and one-on-one mentorship, we provide the tools needed to compete in today’s marketplace.
Businesses in the accelerator receive:
-Affordable access to marketing and digital tools
-Branding workshops and strategy sessions
-One-on-one mentorship with local professionals
-Exposure through Go Local FXBG’s media platforms
-Networking and collaboration opportunities with other entrepreneurs
By combining education, visibility, and direct support, we help small businesses not only survive but thrive — strengthening the local economy in Planning District 16.
