More Than a Nonprofit — A Local Movement

Our Mission

To empower underserved individuals with the tools, support, and real-world experiences needed to succeed—through business development, creative services, mentorship, and strategic partnerships that connect people to purpose.

Our Vision

A future where our region thrives together—connected by purpose, equity, and opportunity for all.

Our Values

Belief in second chances, real-world opportunity, and a network that lifts people up—not leaves them behind.

Built by founders who’s been through the grind of reinvention, this nonprofit is rooted in lived experience.

Returning citizens, women, veterans, youth, and entrepreneurs with big dreams and small budgets.

We bridge the gap between potential and opportunity—with mentorship, marketing, and real collaboration.

Meet the Founders

Built From Experience.

Driven By Purpose.

Go Local FXBG was founded by people who understand what it means to start over, build from the ground up, and serve with heart. Our leadership reflects the communities we support — resilient, creative, and ready to make change happen.

Marcus Toler

Founder & Executive Director

Entrepreneur. Vision-builder. Community connector.

Mark founded Go Local FXBG to empower others the way he once needed — through second chances, mentorship, and meaningful support. His work across events, media, and local marketing laid the groundwork for a nonprofit that’s as real and resilient as the people it serves.

Kitty Melerski

Nonprofit strategist. Community advocate. Equity champion.

With a deep background in nonprofit leadership, Kitty brings structure, heart, and systems to Go Local FXBG. Her experience in building community programs, securing funding, and empowering overlooked voices makes her an invaluable force behind the movement.
